ABOUT ME

I'm a graduate from the University of Alabama, so know right off the bat I might be THAT shamelessly obnoxious fan during football season. I'm nerdy, tend to hang around creative artsy fartsy types, and am excited/terrified that my philosophy of I'd rather be happy than content will lead to me being viewed as an obnoxious, bohemian vagabond.

To be fair, I've only participated once in NYC, but I did stay with a couple of rad ladies that I'm still in touch with! I'd love to visit and be visited. Meeting people worldwide with different perspectives are basically my favorite.

Whiskey, bacon, Netflix, my friends, dogs, and cheese (not money. a legit block of cheese) are also A+ distractions, though.

I'm kind of a Netflix stalker, so basically anything that doesn't look too annoying, buuut

T.V. Louie, Newsroom, Parks and Rec, Mad Men, Gilmore Girls, Game of Thrones, Always Sunny... (If it's been on Netflix, I've probably tried it out)

Music: LCD Soundsystem, Belle and Sebastion, The Strokes, Kanye, Courtney Barnett, Kendrick Lamar, The Avalanches, Metric, Nancy Sinatra, Interpol, etc.

Books: Neil Gaiman, Flannery O'Conner, Kurt Vonnegut, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Charles Bukowski, and Tennessee Williams
