Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling and meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do and sometimes when you go on vacation you tend to stick to the things you already know, check in your hotel, go sightseeing and so on.. That can be nice but for me it´s far more interesting to be spontaneous and to connect with the locals. Also you don´t need a lot of money to have an awesome time ;)
Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to see places and meet people all around the world and have experiences that I can not book on a travel agency

Music, Movies, and Books
Really just a wild mix of all kinds :)
Music: There´s no special genre I prefer.. I would say I like handmade and live music best, something like rock, alternative, ska, reggae, psycedelic, jazz, classic.. also experimental stuff, depends on the modd I guess ;)
Books: Oh there´s loads and loads... I really liked The kite runner ( Khaled Hosseini) , The God Of The Small Things (Arundhati Roy) and The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime (Mark Haddon), short stories from Kafka, The Beach (Alex Garland)...
Movies: Carnage, Shutter Island, Coffee and Cigarettes, The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, Little miss sunshine
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a sailing trip in Halong Bay and stayed on a small island and at night I went to the beach and saw the "sea glowing" ( this bioluminescence emitted by plankton) and it was soo amazing!! I think I was in the water for several hours just standing in the middle of this fascinating wonder of nature. It was like a million tiny blue-silver lights apearing out of nowhere. If you ever get the chance to see it, go for it :)
