Hi, my name is Leander and I'm from Germany. I currently live in the USA as an exchange student in a program funded and organized by the US Congress and the German Bundestag. This has been my dream for many years so I'm glad that I finally got to experience something so special!

I like to travel and explore new cities and national parks. While doing that, it's always nice to meet new people from all over the world.

I love to try new cuisines and riding my bike is part of my free time.

As a person working in the tourism industry, I'm always interested in traveling as much as I can.

A comedy show is one of the best things for me to see when I visit a new city or country.

I listen to a lot of (Alternative) Rock and EDM.

Some of my favorite shows are Black Mirror, Game of Thrones and Schitt's Creek.

My favorite book is a German book called "Ich bin dann mal weg", a travel diary by a comedian on his St. James pilgrimage.
