ABOUT ME

i'm Leander or Lee, my dad is from Chile and my mom is from Belgium where i have lived my whole life so far. i'm a sportive guy, i like all sorts of sports, but my preference goes to extreme sports, especially surfing. i love travelling, its been an amazing and learnful experience for me. i'm a social guy that loves to have laugh, but also likes to have a good conversation with a good beer. i try to always put a positive spin on things ;).

PHILOSOPHY

i'm always searching for a positive balance in life and everything else, i'm very open minden and up for discussion on any subject. i wanna make the most of my life while being happy and respecting nature and others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now i'm studying in Leuven and my place is a bit to small to host surfers, but when i have the time i would definitely like to show people around and engage myself more in the CS community over here.

I have surfed a couple of couches and met a couple of surfers while travelling and working in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

i like almost any music, if i like the sound, i'll listen it, whatever the genre. same with movies, maybe not to much of a fan of your typical romantic comedy. mainly action/comedy, sci-fi, psychological, documentary. not too much of a reader but i'm trying to become one ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swimming with wild dolphins, riding elephant in nepal, getting barreled, visiting chile and nepal, meeting awesome people and thousands of other experiences which i cant recall right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: qualified surf instructor for beginning and intermediate surfers, guitar basics, dutch, english, basic spanish and french.
learn: i wanna keep improving my own surfing, other sports, cooking, improve spanish, other languages.
share: thoughts about life, people, society, etc. knowledge about sports, music, food, health, travel, business.
