Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Leandro, and I'm excited to be a part of the Couchsurfing community! I have lived in New York for 8 and and 5 years in Paris before moving to Edinburgh, where I moved to pursue my post-graduate studies in Climate Change Finance.
As a host or guest, I'm looking forward to sharing my own cultural experiences with others and learning from theirs. In addition to offering a unique and authentic experience, I would also be happy to do a language exchange with native Italian speakers. I'm currently learning Italian and would love to practice while sharing my own language and culture.
If you're interested, I'm also open to apartment exchanges whenever there is mutual interest. Let's explore new places and connect 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As someone who loves traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, I was drawn to Couchsurfing as a way to connect with locals and experience destinations in a more authentic and meaningful way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While exploring the Calanques National Park in Marseille, my phone had ran out of battery and I had no way to navigate my way back. As I wandered, feeling increasingly lost, I ran into a former Olympique de Marseille Manage, who kindly offered me a ride to the nearest metro station.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's connect over our shared love for cultural exchange and adventure! As a Couchsurfing host/guest, I'm excited to offer a unique and authentic experience that goes beyond just finding a place to stay. Whether it's exploring the hidden gems of Paris or sharing stories over a meal, I believe that travel is all about creating meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe that the best way to truly experience a new place is to connect with locals and learn from their unique perspectives. As a guest, I hope to do just that, and to leave my hosts with candid memories and a newfound appreciation for cultural exchange.
