About Me

I’ve learned a lot from different cultures and people, which has helped me to be a better human being, as I believe. In general I consider myself attentive, caring, responsible, honest, sincere and passionate about life, travels and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been registered here since 2010 but never took it seriously. It was a Brazilian guy that I met in Saint Petersburg that changed my mind. Since then I joined a few events in Sao Paulo, but haven't hosted anyone (because I don't have a house yet) or stayed in anybody's house for lack of opportunity.

Interests

The best of travelling is the people I meet along the way.

Recently started studying CQ (Cultural Intelligence) and realized that travelling and meeting people all over the world had helped me to develop this ability without realizing what I was doing. So much more to be learned though...

Music, Movies, and Books

I was born and raised in Rock n’ Roll (like Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc.), but I’m sure there is something in every music style that I like. Even though, favorites are Rock n’ Roll, Jazz, Bossa Nova and Brazilian rhythms, Funk&Soul etc.

Really like movies, with deep content or just for entertainment. Prefer comedies, but like a good drama and don't watch horror movies.

I only finish good books and recently my favorites have been Umberto Eco, Monteiro Lobato, Isabel Allende… Though I often don't have a lot of patience to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dropped my "perfect life" to travel the world and find a real one, with purpose.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share experiences about life and travels. I can learn something with everyone I meet. I quote my grandmother on that: "nothing is so bad that couldn't even serve as a bad example".

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good stories, good humor, nice time together and help in anything they may need.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Nepal, Netherlands, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, India, United Kingdom
