About Me
I’m Leanna and I’m 32 years old. I just recently moved to Spain! I live in a town about 40 minutes away from the city, Sevilla. I would love to be able to host, but since I’m living in the countryside, there is limited transportation to the city, and it’s a bit hard for me to host here. If you’re looking to stay in a traditional Spanish town, you’re welcome, but honestly it’s not the most exciting place haha. Hopefully my living situation next year will allow me to host more.
I am originally from a small town outside of Philadelphia, USA. At the university I studied international relations, and Spanish. Now I am working as an English teacher at a primary school, and also teach private English classes. I would be happy to help you practice your English! I love Latin American culture and the Spanish language! I try to travel as much as possible! When I was 23 years old, I booked a one way trip to Europe by myself, and I fell in love with traveling ever since! These past 2.5 years have been hard with not being able to travel, but I am happy to be able to see the world again. I love getting to know new places and people. I like seeing the non-touristy parts of a country too, so this is why I joined! I love meeting locals. One of my hobbies is writing letters to pen pals, and throughout the years I have visited 8 pen pals in 6 different countries so far. I know I do not have a lot of references because I use this mostly to just meet locals, not to find a host, but I would be happy to provide you with my social media to prove I am real, trustworthy person! I’m very social and talkative, but also very polite and respectful. I’m fully vaccinated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m very interested in meeting new people and exploring new cultures, so I thought this would be a great way to meet new people! I feel like you can’t really get to know a place by staying in a hotel and just seeing the tourist spots. I like to go off the beaten path and know where the locals eat and hangout.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, and bought a one way ticket to Europe without any plans. I ended up seeing 6 countries in 6 weeks. It sparked my love for travel, and I never looked back since then.
Teach, Learn, Share
I started learning Latin dancing a year ago, so if you are interested I can teach you salsa and bachata, or we can go out dancing! I’m also happy to help you with your English and Spanish! I am also know for bringing a lot of American candy and junk food to my hosts haha.
