My name is Leanna and I am recent college grad originally from California and I attended college on the East Coast, and studied abroad twice in France and Hungary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

SURFING
I am attending a humanitarian affairs conference in Vietnam in the summer of 2016 and will travel within Vietnam and Thailand for a month with a friend. She and I are looking for fun people to meet, listen to, and show us their favorite local spots.

We both are passionate about global studies and expanding our intercultural competency; we do not want to be ignorant tourists :)

HOSTING
I am currently in transition between college and AmeriCorps, I will not be in this transition stage forever :)

Interests

I love podcasts, qualitative and quantitative research, behavioral economics, peace and conflict studies, and writing.

However, I also really enjoy exploring local bars, dancing, board games, any activity relating to water, puns, visiting museums, and learning about other cultures.
