Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned above, I believe life is a journey of exploring, sharing, and learning, and this is such a great platform for people who have the same mindset but yet so different from each other to meet and share! Plus there is nothing better than travel like a local!! Or staying at home but still "traveling" around the world!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If it had to be ONE thing, then it`d be keeping a curious and inquisitive mind to pursue/refine meanings in things. And a few things I have done are:

I hiked backcountry in a beautiful and secretive spot in Yosemite where Chiura Obata painted Lake Basin(aslo in photo). It was amazing to see how a artist interpreted the beauty of the nature into his own interpretation! It was also a new experience to be able to identify "everything" in the painting, rocks, edges of the lake, and even the flowers! Besides, there was also a sense of changing in time. Even though the painting was done in 1930, less than 100 years ago, it had snow/glacier hanging on the peaks, but now it`s all gone.

I went on a solo trip in Mexico for about a month. During the trip, I got certified with PADI in Cozumel, where is a part of the largest barrier reef system in the Western Hemisphere, making it a dream place to go diving! I was blessed to swam with a shark, a sea turtle, and much more lively and colorful fishes and corals!
Being amazed by the sea diving experience, I then decided to get Advance PADI in Tulum, where has the 3rd largest underwater cave system in the world. Dos Ojos, Casa Cenote, The Pit are featured very clear water though different views. One bonus point was to touch/feel the earth from millions years old to recent age in short.

I learned how to weave real Panama hats and ate mango whenever and wherever I went, in a village close to Penonomé, Panama.

I dog mushed on the glacier. Alaska is gorgeous and real master piece of the nature.

I skydived for one of my birthdays.

I lived/practiced in an Ashram for 2 month.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cultural exchange (Do you want to learn how to speak Chinese, cook authentic food, or play traditional instruments? I also know how to make bracelets and weave a legitimate Panamanian hat :)
Would also love to teach/learn/practice yoga together (250 hours certified yoga instructor)
