About Me
Hi, I'm Leanne.
I'm currently living in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada working for a local tourism organization.
I love to travel and explore new places, and am always up to making new friends.
Some of my past adventures include backpacking through South East Asia, living and working in South Korea as a TEFL instructor, and road-tripping across both England and the Caribbean island of Tobago.
I love to explore outdoors and am always up for a good hiking, walking, cycling or paddling adventure. I'm also a passionate, self-proclaimed photographer. You can see some of my work at www.eyetravelfar.wordpress.com.
At the moment I am not able to accept guests, but would be happy to meet travellers heading to the Hamilton area. If you have any questions or are looking for some tips for travelling in Ontario or any of the places I've been, feel free to get in touch.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my favourite aspects of travelling is meeting new people and learning about the local culture. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to save money and meet new people.
Also, I have many friends who have couchsurfed around the world and had wonderful experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I don't have a favourite genre. It depends on my mood and if I connect with the song or artist.
A few of my favourite movies are Big Fish, Across the Universe, We Are the Best and The Little Mermaid. I'm always up for a movie night.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zip-lined through the jungle in Laos.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to thoroughly research a place before I visit. Although I tend to go a bit overboard on the planning side, I've learned to go with the flow and set aside the itinerary when a great opportunity arises. It's important to be flexible with travel plans.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel experiences and advice, punny jokes and a good laugh.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, England, Indonesia, Jamaica, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Viet Nam
