ABOUT ME

I'm just a simple girl from Singapore who wants to see the world. The last tally reads 182 cities in 41 countries! Yet, there are still so many more places to see. My favorite country in the world is Italy, where I have been 6-7 times. I studied ballet and piano for 14 years since I was young, but now I practise Muay Thai (thai boxing). A little ironic, if I may say so myself :)

PHILOSOPHY

I see the things I want to see, learn the things I wish to learn and live life to the fullest. And so far, by the grace of God, I have been able to do so.

Interests

My main interests are in traveling and good food. I love history, art, cars, cooking, wine and anything Italian ;) I love learning new languages, and besides Italian, I would like to learn Portuguese and Polish. I love muay thai, swimming, writing music, driving, reading and watching movies.

i like alternative rock and indie rock - Negramaro, Negrita etc. some of my fav movies include La vita è bella, L'ultimo Bacio, Les Choristes, The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things, Rosso come il cielo, Vozvrashcheniye, L'uomo Perfetto, 12 Angry Men, High Noon, La Finestra di Fronte, Scusa ma ti chiamo amore etc. I love books by Douglas Kennedy, Lauren Weisberger and J.T. Leroy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to determine one amazing thing.. From the niagara falls to the grand canyon, from the great walls of china to the colosseo in Roma, I have seen some pretty amazing things in my life, and I am thankful for that.

Teach, Learn, Share

The beauty about staying with people of different cultures is that you get to learn about things that you cannot read up in books or the internet. In exchange, tell them something interesting about your country/culture, so that they can in turn tell their friends about it.
