HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted for years previously, will continue to host again when I can! I currently travel a lot for work in the United States and do my best to make times to explore around after the work wraps up! Bike trips, hike trips, or just hanging around the city, I just want to spend a little personal time in each city I go to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My old roommate had a CS account and we hosted surfers often. It was a great experience, particularly because I was new to the city when we started hosting. It gave me a good chance to go out and explore my new home with people that were also really interested in going out to see what the city has to offer. A few surfers have ended up as really close friends, even though they've gone back home. I find surfers to be open and honest and always up for a good time.

Interessen

I have a huge interest in live music. Chances are if you stay with me, i'll likely try and take you to see a show. There will likely be an instrument laying around the house, go ahead and play it. I find there are very few better connections people can have than musically. A conversation using music is extremely powerful. I am always up for jamming. Always.
I am also into biking, long distances, around town. Its a quick, cheap, and in depth way to explore an area. I love packing my bike up with camping gear and heading out to the woods for a few days. I am planning a few larger trips this year with my bike, the largest centered around arizona and utah!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My music tastes are somewhat eclectic, but I always come back to folk and quieter sounds! But I do love my garage rock and psych rock too! I love catching local shows and seeing new venues.
I've never been much of a movie buff, but I do enjoy a good flick. I like enjoy adventures and drama, not big on sci-fi.
Currently I am reading The Monkey Wrench Gang by Edward Abbey
