My name is Johanna and live in Cartago (a city close to SJ), Costa Rica.
I'm Biotechnology engineer and getting a master degree in Data Science (kind of nerd). I have a startup that develops botanical products for agriculture I really hope someday we can use more organic products for our food instead chemicals ❤️

I'm an easy going, open-minded, funny and talkative person who is always looking to meet new people and learn about their culture and traditions. I don't smoke and sometimes drink beers. I'm a good cooker I have 4 siblings that can recommend me as I'm the official house cooker. 😂

I have a dog that I adore with all my soul, so if you have any pets I will be happy to rub their bellies if you allow me ❤️

Pd. I started on 2020, but it also was when the pandemia started, so it made I couldnt hang out with people or go to CouchSurfing events.

I'm in this app basically for meeting people and practicing the languages.

I also have really good advices about where to go and the main activities an low costs in almost all places here in Costa Rica 😊

Books: too many I'm a bookworm 😂, but mostly I've read Latin American writers like Gabriel García Marquez, Isabel Allende, Neruda, Gabriela Mistral and so on. The last book I read was "I love you but I'm better without you" by Jaime Jaramillo
But I also had read some over the world writers as Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Tolstói, Oscar Wilde and many others. So if you have a recommendation send me a message ❤️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love Adventure sports so I've done Bungee jumping, Canopy, Paragliding, Scuba diving.
I visited almost all Costa Rica.
I went to live to Panamá alone, I didn't know anyone there and all that before internet! 😂

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a nerd in Biology and Biotechnology... Not many people know what it this about and maybe is not interesting but if you want to know I can teach you and talk a lot about it.
And practice your Spanish or teach you the most important words in Spanish and some "TICOS" words

I offer a nice talk, teach my native language and jokes 😊
Also I can bring some Costa Rican coffee and cook dinner 😊
