ABOUT ME

***HI, I haven't updated my profile in a while and instead of erasing everything and starting over, I just want to add on top of all this to say, wow, life has been so amazing to me over the last five years. Traveling in Europe in 2010 with tons of CS experiences has made me that much more mature and well-adjusted as a human! I love CS so much. It is such a unique thing and it makes me have a little faith in this whole technology thing. Being 27 is good. Being a professional, of sorts, is good. I still find myself traveling often and without a home to share through hosting, but I am working towards the day when I can give back in the ways that have helped me so much. I've taken my "I'm a badass youngass line cook" thing in stride and now am a more subdued professional with a different career path, still in food. We can talk about that when we meet. Alright, read on and laugh at how silly I was just a few short years ago... I think it's great fun! ;P ***

I am a cook, a traveler, a student; an explorer. I love meeting people and having random adventures, wherever I go. I have quite a reputation with my fellow kitchen colleagues... they may regard me as a party animal, a dancer, a monster; a freedom-seeking kiddo. I'm fine with that.

**These days I spend my time in the Bay Area, working, riding my bike, cooking, and loving life. It's simple, easy, lovely. I am happy to share, happy to receive, happy to learn and grow, always.

I lived in India for 2 years, age 13-15. Had a big effect on me. Helped make me the person I am today! :)

I enjoy philosophical conversations, but not the bullshit kinds. I am a big fan of humor, I'm a cook so the jokes are often a bit dirty and inappropriate most of the time, but I get a kick out of it. If you have a relaxed sense of humor and a slight cynicism towards "the regular," I'm sure we can bond over that. Bein a professional cook, I can probably teach you something, but I am most interested in the way you sustain yourself in your own environment, be it cooking, going out, or eating chips all day... it's whatever! I'm not a food snob, I like to try new things but I don't force adventurism on to anyone. I have slaughtered and butchered animals. I have grown and enjoyed sustainably farmed vegetables. I am omnivorous. I love creatures.
