Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new and interesting people
ABOUT ME
Layed back, gentle, generous, adventurous, unconventional, witty.
As I age I become more comfortable in my skin.
I laugh at myself often and don't take myself too seriously.
Love nothing more than sharing experiences and food, beverage in hand, maybe around a camp fire or kitchen table.
PHILOSOPHY
Dont take myself or the world too seriously.
Tread lightly in the environment -
Share my experience. Pay it forward.
Do unto others..........
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Can offer a bed from time to time - Love meeting new people and swapping stories..
My home is 1 minute from a lovely surf beach, 20 minutes from Hobart airport, 30 mins from Hobart and 45 mins from Port Arthur.
My home is more suited to surfers who have their own transport, although we are connected to Hobart by bus.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Having surfed with some wonderful hosts in Ireland mainly, I feel much more aware of the needs of couch surfers.
I look forward to hosting fellow travellers when possible.

Catching up on some TV Series - eg Breaking Bad. Love British humour and have series to catch up on - Green Wing, Ideal, Gavin and Stacey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A one year trip overland Bombay to London - so many stories including camping adjacent to the huge Buddha carvings in the Bamian Valley later to be senselessly destroyed by the Taliban.
An amazing aurora that lasted for some hours filling the sky.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - over 30 years experience as a potter.
Can help with behavioural problems with dogs.
Learn - Have been learning how to interact
with horses - very much a newbie but would love more exposure.
