openspirited, willing to adventure and discover, humorous, likes to share ideas and listen to other's stories, loves literature, music, theatre...these all sound really open ended on the internet but we can talk about it in person. :)

PHILOSOPHY

To always be honest; to pursue what interests you whole-heartedly and without trying to fulfill any expectations you believe others hold; to create, to play, to be creative in my play; to learn as much as possible, particularly about things I did not even know to be part of the world; to be non-judgmental and open; to put myself in uncomfortable places, to challenge myself; to accept others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Haruki Murakami!!
Music: I LOVE music and I LOVE LOVE LOVE dancing. I love jazz. I am totally geeked on Thelonius Monk. I also love punk rock...Buzzcocks, the Queers, the Suicide Machines...
I can appreciate all sorts of music, outside of top 40 hits. Those make me feel pretty dead inside.
Movies: Mrs. Doubtfire is my favorite movie. I have zero shame about this. That movie is phenomenal.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone can be a teacher, and I feel I learn from all individuals I have meaningful encounters with. I want my teachers to transcend any expectations of age, race or gender; I have no demands for teachers, instead welcome the gift of learning from inspiring spirits that welcome their way into my life.
