ABOUT ME

I consider myself calm, funny, smily, far from being susceptible! Curious
I'm studying psychology/neuroscience and am currently living in Trento, Italy for a research internship till the month of June. And please... don't think I'm always analyzing people when I'm only listening to them! :)
I am from beloved Montreal originally.

PHILOSOPHY

Saadi, Persian poet (in English, translating is betraying):
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you've no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain!

In the end, the only thing that will always lack for everyone of us is time. My philosophy is that nothing lasts forever. Happiness doesn't last, sadness doesn't last! So enjoy life at your own rhythm!

Unfortunately I can't couch anyone, because I'm living in a residence at the moment. However, I'd be really open to meeting people for a coffee, a beer, an aperitivo, a Krapfen...
But eh, one day, I'll host, tell ya, I'll host!!

None, every time I was somewhere, I did not have the opportunity to couch or be couched!!!

Meeting people. Talking with people. Music. Neuropsychology (and psychology in general). Reading (really everything). Foreign languages. Discussion of all kinds (from poetry to politics). Food (I cook a lot). Discovering new things and being taught.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm in love with world music. I just can't get rid of discovering new genres coming from all around the world: Lhasa de Sela, Seu Jorge, Ondatrópica (that's a wicked album), Novalima, Gotan Project, Mohsen Namjoo, Wax Poetic, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Farka Touré, Tawfiq Farrukh, Chavah Alberstein, Goran Bregovic, Idan Raichel, Ismaël Lô, Amadou et Mariam, etc. I also love more "conventional" Morcheeba, Portishead, etc.
I like reading, particularly literature and scientific stuff. Right now I'm into Les Misérables - Victor Hugo.
