About Me
ABOUT ME
Can't host right now due to super busy into residency work, but could meet up for activity around work!
I am a Physical Therapist in Atlanta, GA and will begin an orthopedic residency program at Emory University in August, 2019. Before going back to school for physical therapy, I was living in an amazing community in the Sierra Foothills in California, working on farms and then going to school at the local community college for my Grad school pre-req classes. I really loved being immersed in the farming life style of working hard, eating amazing food, and sharing excellent community. Working as a physical therapist is pretty great as well and now I am geeking out on human movement and health most of the time! I am in constant awe regarding the human mind, body and spirit!
“It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”

Interests
I am pathologically curious. I like to learn and to try new things. I also love most things active and played basketball and ran track/xc in college. i was really into crossfit for a while and now enjoying weightlifting and learning about new mind-body movement pursuits like Tai Chi and yoga. I dig farming and sustainability as it relates to treating our natural resources with a tender hand. I am often thinking consciously about where the food I"m eating is coming from and place a lot of value on that.
I do enjoy a good crossword puzzle. When I catch the desire to write, I like to sit down with an inspiring blog idea or write a letter to a buddy or far away family member. There is an itch that I have to write a book that might turn into something one day, who knows.
I am just exploring the local food of this area, but already am loving the veggies and fruit from the Athens' farmers' market. How could I not honor these fine ingredients with some cooking experimentation?
