One of the pleasures of travel is to meet others who also travel. Traveling is more then just seeing the sights, but rather meeting the people who give character to those very places. Sharing stories with friends is the best way to learn about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of my reading tends to be dull and academic but for some reason Dubliners by Joyce and Perfume by Suskind intrigue me.

Regarding films I mostly watch romance, superheroes, comedy, and various foreign films. The only genre I am not a huge fan of is horror or thriller however Jordan Peele is beginning to change my mind on that. Guilty pleasure is the family film Paddington.

I tend to have philosophical conversations with people and I do my best to be open minded and learn about the expertise of others. I am an amateur cook and also willing to go the extra mile to be the ideal guest whether it be getting sweets or a bottle of wine for a host.
