I'm very interested in what people think, what people believe and in turn, how people live. I especially enjoy how different ideas and belief systems can produce unexpected and very beneficial outcomes for individuals and society. To hear about and to see these differences firsthand is why I travel.

I've spent the last seven years in California, mostly in the Los Angeles metropolitan area but also up north in Berkeley. I'm trying to travel a bit more in the next several years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like listening to people and their ideas, about their city and about their experience. Couchsurfing can facilitate those conversations. Plus, when travelling, money saved on lodging can go into food, a noble cause unto itself.
