About Me
***Just got back on after teaching overseas. Haven't had a chance to update fully***
Hello couchsurfers! I'm an American South Jersey(New Jersey)/Philly (Philadelphia, PA) girl turned Florida girl--haha. I grew up in the Northeast, but traded the cold dreary winters for warm sunny "summer weather" year round in Florida. I lived there for 12 years before leaving the U.S. I loved living in FL because I love sunshine, the beach, laying out by the pool, and being able to do outdoor activities year round! :-)
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I can talk to virtually anyone and have been told that I am easy to talk with because I make people feel comfortable.
I love trying out new things and have an adventurous spirit. I left the U.S. at the end of December in 2016 to pursue a desire/dream that I had let fear keep from me--teaching overseas. I got my TEFL in Thailand in January and didn't really plan on being in Asia as long as I was--almost 6 months. I have now (finally) made it to South America, and I am teaching in Cuenca, Ecuador. :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined two years ago, but didn't host or couch surf, then kind of forgot about it until I left the U.S. and started traveling. I have had the opportunity to meet people who are a part of this CS community & quickly realized what I had been missing out on--haha! It is so cool to meet people from all over the world and hear their stories/learn their culture. :-)
I have been hosted by people in Asia while traveling there, and now I am finally in a position to host now that I am settled and living in Ecuador.
***Disclaimer: if you are using this platform somewhat like Tinder, please DO NOT offer to host me/ask to stay with me. Hey, I know that "love" can happen in mysterious ways, but if your intention is to try and hook up....get off of CS and just get on Tinder. My intention is to legitimately couchsurf/host, that is it. Thank you!***

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left the U.S. almost a year ago...I feel I've done a lot of amazing things and can share in person. 😊
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you English & some Latin dance moves. 😉💃 I want to learn about your culture/language. Let's share our travel stories! 😁
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories of my travel experiences thus far. I can help you improve your conversational (American) English if that is a desire of yours. I've already helped a friend in Sweden correct how she was saying things b/c she had asked me to & a friend from Brazil. I can cook for you or help you cook as well as share my love for life and adventure! :-)
I know that I am staying in someone's home and not a hotel, therefore, I clean up after myself--do my dishes, keep the area tidy/clean, etc...
