music, philosophy, literature, karate, spiritual pursuits. I've been thinking about consciousness lately, and the nature of the soul. I like talking about big ideas, and talking honestly and personally with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always come back to Plato. Kundera. DH. Lawrence and Thomas Mann. That's what comes to mind. I really like Hegel too, but I haven't read him in a while. Music: I like old r&b like Otis Reading, Wilson Pickett, and I also like folk, singer/songwriter and celtic stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured India with the dance company my wife and I have. 11 dancers and 7 musicians. The music was almost all mine

Not sure what this means. I'll talk about anything interesting with anybody, so teaching and learning should happen.

There's a country western song - I think it was by George Jones - "All I have to offer you is me" That's basically how I look at my teaching too.
