I always come back to Plato. Kundera. DH. Lawrence and Thomas Mann. That's what comes to mind. I really like Hegel too, but I haven't read him in a while. Music: I like old r&b like Otis Reading, Wilson Pickett, and I also like folk, singer/songwriter and celtic stuff.

Toured India with the dance company my wife and I have. 11 dancers and 7 musicians. The music was almost all mine

Not sure what this means. I'll talk about anything interesting with anybody, so teaching and learning should happen.
