Hello, I'm Lee! I am currently traveling around Asia/Southeast Asia for nine months. I love to experience different ways of life and form friendships with people all over the world. I enjoy learning about cities and cultures, but what I truly love is getting outdoors to explore and go on adventures (hiking, camping, biking, swimming, etc.)

I'm laid-back and am good at making the best out of whatever situation I am in. I like to do some solo exploring, but also enjoy exploring with a buddy. I prefer a good conversation with coffee/tea/beer over going out to a loud club. Message me if you want to meet up.

I run my own travel blog and podcast called Edge of Comfort (edgeofcomfort.com). The blog includes posts about my travel experiences. For the podcast, I interview interesting travelers and locals from different cultures about their life and travel adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couchsurfing because I believe the best way to understand a new place is through people. Couchsurfing is usually more than just a place to sleep. It's a way to make new friends and learn about each other's cultures.

I'm doing a lot of solo traveling so I want to meet locals and other travelers who know and represent the area well. I'm also trying to be conscious of my budget and how much I am spending.
