About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To build and live in a eco-friendly self sustaining laneway house in the heart of Edmonton at my new property and to meet amazing people

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Lee. I am 34 yrs old. I am a very easy going individual, very relaxed and friendly, a peaceful person. I love to laugh and joke around, and I love to meet new people, and to see new places.

In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is the King.

PHILOSOPHY

Give a man a fish - feed him for a day
teach a man to fish and you feed him for life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have contributed the donation to become properly verified, and I have stayed with people around the world. I am settled down in a new home now, and after three years on couch surfing, I am finally able to host some fellow surfers in the extra bedroom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went to Montreal for a week and stayed with some surfers. very fun, we had a great time.
Traveled to Rome for a week and was greeted by a fun new friend, later watched her sing at a local bar.
Denmark stayed with surfers for a quick night.
Hosting fellow travellers and trying to make people feel at home when they arrive in this strange new city

Interests

Good Drink, good food, and good people and great music. :) I can be nerdy sometimes, science and games. In the summer months I love camping and canoeing. festivals, and the outdoors. fishing/hiking/biking etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will watch and read anything interesting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been cliff diving in the Rocky Mountains, canoeing down the North Saskatchewan river. I have traveled around Europe and visited Jamaica.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook a wide variety of tasty breakfasts, and even a good thai food dinner :) I love to hike and canoe, anything outdoors, I am currently trying to learn basic German.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Your own bed (pull out) blankets, pillows and sheets. Shower and kitchen can be used, as well as a big back yard with a fire pit (fire ban dependent). There is an extra bicycle here for 1 person that can be used as well for travel, and the house is located in the core of the city, south of the river. University of Alberta and Whyte ave and Mill Creek Ravine are all within a 15 minute ride Please bring your own bike lock if you'd like to use the bicycle.

Countries I’ve Visited
