CURRENT MISSION

My mission at present is that I am in the midst of travelling from London to South India on a Yamaha R1 motorcycle.

ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old, currently on a 6-month sabbatical from the office, where I am combining exploring and studying whilst on the open road.
I have lived in a house share of four back in the UK for the past 14 years. I have a huge passion for motorcycles. I am starting to realise that I am actually more shy than I would like to admit. It's not until you've been out of your comfort zone for so long that you begin to notice certain things about yourself. CS should hopefully shake out some of those old cobwebs. Oh and I'm vegetarian (2years).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Instinctively I would feel more comfortable in hosting than actual surfing but I am yet to experience either. I look forward to hopefully being able to do both

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only experience of CS that I have had include hearing only positive things via people / friends who either hosted and surfed or both.
I was also kindly hosted by someone in Thessaloniki, Greece last month through a friend even though I had not completed my CS account registration. I will not name names just incase that infringes on any rule guidelines........Thanks BABIS!!!!

Interests

In recent years I have been heavily involved in endurance sports, including marathons and Ironman triathlons. I've just completed my 2nd and I think last ironman and am now looking into possibly a new hobby like climbing.
I'm a keen yoga practitioner both Hatha and Bikram. I have only just discovered snowboarding which a great new hobby of mine too
I also have keen interest in ancient cultures and sites across the earth.
