Overview
About Me
Friendly, good mood and smile stuck on the face. I studied geology, and I loved it ! Yes, Rocks ! Now I'm a research assistant in a climate reserach lab, and I'm still looking for the next step.
These last 3 years I spent time in Ireland and Scotland a lot. I really enjoy celtic cultures, and Scottish/Irish hospitality. I love meet different people here, there and everywhere. I'm a curious person, so it's easier for me to talk about everything with everyone. Can't wait to meet you !
I really enjoy doing nothing and everything. I don't like routine, but I often get caught by it. Everytime I realized it, I did what I had to to get out of it. Whith that I found myself doing mountain camp with teenagers, or going to help disabled people in holidays. I took me and my frends in my head to visit my friends all around the country (or outsiden sometimes !).
The fact that I grew up in the countryside probably made me love fresh air and outdoor activities. I sure love great landscapes when I saw them. But even though being alone or quiet is amazing, sometimes I just love to go and speak to strangers. When you find the weirdest one, you know you got a friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the best way to meet people and discover things we can't ever imagine.
People is my passion. Each time I meet someone I think "Whaou... This guy is amazing. Weird. Creapy in his way. I love it !" Everyone has its own amzaing detail you can't ignore. And sometimes you can find great friends just by talking to a stranger in the street, or being nice with a waitress, or travelling by bus and talking to your seatmate (I don't even know if this word exists) !
Interests
I love reading, and walking everywhere. When I don't know what to do, I just take my shoes on and go away, nowhere, everywhere. I like sun and sea and mountains, and rain, and sleep, and run, and swim, and jump all the time because life is good & beautiful.
"On ne va jamais aussi loin que lorsque l'on ne sait pas où l'on va."
I love laughing. It will get me wrinkled, once old. \o/
I like finding a word that sounds odd. Like "volontier". I always want it to be an adjective. "Besides" is very beautiful. Don't ask me why.
I don't like peanuts. I love crumpets.
Oh, and I like lie down on the floor listenning to music. Or listenning to people stories (they ere so great !). Or just lie down in the floor for nothing.
Did you ever stand in the thunderstorm rain in summer ? Hot water, and warm smell ? If you don't, you definetly have to try. ASAP.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite songs are "Here comes the sun" from the Beatles, "Holocene" Bon Iver, "Back home" and "Shooting stars" from Owl City, "Ordinary Love" U2 (the tonight show live !), "Summer" Joe Hisaichi, "La Moldau" Smetana... and this list will be totally different in the mean time we meet !
The most improbable artists I found (and love) are Alt-J, Cigarettes After Sex, and Blackmill.
Movies :
Accross the universe, Cloud Atlas, Finding neverland, How to train your dragon, Star Wars, The Perks of Being a wallflower for the most evident...
Books:
Harry Potter (JK Rowling)
Arsène Lupin (Maurice Leblanc)
Le livre des étoiles (Eric L'Homme)
Les thanatonautes (Bernard Werber)
Les Dames du Lac (M Zimmer Bradley)
The Life List (Lori Nelson Spielmann)
Outlander (Diana Gabaldon)
and The Life List. Yeah I know, I write it twice. But it's good. Wait. No. It's amazing. I never cried and laugh and feeling mad or sad or crazy that much for any other book. And I can tell you I read lots of these.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day I bought a plane ticket, because I didn't know what to do the next day. I took a bag, and went in Ireland. Alone, with music, happiness and big eyes open. I met a lot of amazing people.
It's kind of sad thinking I didn't do that before. Better late than never. But I oviously have to fix that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am genuinly good with my hands. I mean I am able to fix or built or work with a lot of things. With, sometimes, very little material. I'm also very curious, which often help me to find a quick solution, and find a better later.
The only thing I don't know is walk on my hands. I'll learn someday !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a nice cooker, I guess, and I know different country has different way to do it, so it's always a good experience to discorver usual food from somewhere else !
