Surf and Surf, In The Ocean And From Couch to Couch

ABOUT ME

I'm free spirited and enjoy travelling and to meet new people. I live a balanced life between work and play. My 2 favorite activities of surfing and farming... I love the ocean. I am currently involved in volunteer style work (wwoof, helpx) on organic farms. If I'm organic farming, or volunteering you may find me along the coastal regions of the world growing my own food, or living off the land. I know my purpose in life is helping other people, especially hard working farmers...but, it doesn't stop there! If there's waves I'm in the water. Ocean waves are my toys.

I'm also very into marketing. And I know my way around the computer with skills like web design, graphic design all coupled with creative thinking, and networking with people all around the world.

I'm a team player who get's along well with other people. I feel comfortable in various settings, which is to say content, but not complacent or uncaring. I respect other people's property. I believe in oneness, which is to say we are one human family.

I value other people's feelings, but at the same time I understand the importance of focused breathing, ignoring the senses, and looking deep within. I enjoy Yoga!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Maybe when I return to my cabin on the edge of the jungle located in Haiku on Maui with a nice couch it will be available to you. For now; However, I'm surfing! Oceans and Couches, but mostly real waves I hope...If you live by the beach and have a couch that's even better! I'd be stoked.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new at couchsurfing. I have been involved in a few volunteer situations on Maui, Dallas Tx, and now Long Island NY.

Music, Movies, and Books

Funny movies... I have a movie idea about how to unite the world with a voting before war corporate system structure. The movie is about the first form of democracy, which was voting before war when the Greeks were attacked by Persia. Contrary to popular belief, it is voting to have a politician become elected. www.counterweaponsofmassdestruction.com

My favorite book right now is The Zohar. It's known as the book of formation. It really address where we came from and where we're going.

I like Maui 103.3 for music. It has all the best island beats and reggae music. It's easy listening in my book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing things together is always better...I've hiked up to the top of Haleakala on Maui and rode my bicycle down off road. I surfed all over the north shores of Maui, and Oahu in a few locations.

I've been on surf trips to Thailand, Australia, and up and down Florida's East coast.

I live to see waterfalls and rainbows while drinking coconut milk on any tropical island! That's the best!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sometimes, we believe that we should deny our desires and longing so that in the next reincarnation we will be more successful. We think we should not desire anything except a little nutrition and lying in the sun as would a cat. However, the contrary is true since next time, we will be even more cruel, demanding, exacting and aggressive.

The Creator wants us to be filled with spiritual pleasures, to be complete. That is possible only through great desire. Only with a corrected desire can we truly reach the spiritual world and become strong and active. If our desire is small, while it cannot do great harm, it also cannot do much good. Desire is called "corrected" only when it functions out of the proper influence. It does not exist in us automatically, but is acquired while studying Kabbalah in the correct manner.
