About Me
Hey there! I'm Huey, originally from Malacca, Malaysia, but right now I'm on a whirlwind adventure across the globe, soaking up every experience and meeting incredible people like you.
Turning 30 is just a number (a big, exciting number!), and I'm determined to celebrate every single moment of this incredible journey. Earlier this year, I embarked on a mission to explore both Asia Pacific and the West, and it's been mind-blowing!
Now, I'm eager to see what the next chapter holds. One thing's for sure, it'll involve good vibes, new connections, and maybe even a hint of the unknown.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing first landed on my radar back in 2016 thanks to a crazy roommate from Lithuania. Since then, it's opened my eyes to the incredible potential for human connection – a chance to meet folks who share a thirst for adventure and a belief in the good in the world.
One inspiring host in Basel even sparked a fire in me to become a Couchsurfing Ambassador someday. (Think: badge collector for amazing experiences!)
I'm all about building genuine friendships and sharing unforgettable experiences with people from all walks of life. Let's swap stories, explore hidden gems, and maybe even create some memories that deserve their own badge!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I did was help a local wet market generate income during a sudden lockdown. Using social media, I connected them with customers and ensured fresh produce reached homes within 24 hours. It was a win-win – supporting local businesses and getting vital groceries to people in need.
Teach, Learn, Share
My travels and experiences attending events have opened my eyes to the world and fueled my curiosity. I'm always eager to hear about new places and hidden gems, so swap stories with me over a cup of tea (or your favorite beverage)!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can lend a hand with everyday tasks like cooking or light chores, ensuring a helping hand is always available. I'm also enthusiastic about cultural exchange, whether it involves sharing a traditional dish from my hometown or swapping travel stories. I'm always eager to connect and learn from different cultures, enriching our experience together.
