COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i haven't CSed via this site yet, but have travelled using the same concepts, staying at places of people who i met briefly on my travels (mainly south america). great way to get to know local culture, new people and broaden yr mind! the very reason i love travelling.

tangible & cliché: meeting new people, travelling, and at times: clearing my head. besides this, i have a childish interest in anything that makes my mind curl up with joy. like sun on my skin. driving my car with a hand out of the window. feet in the sand. climbing rocks on my flipflops. eating a big piece of cake after a 24 hour busride. drinking that first belgian beer with friends after a long holiday. dancing tango.

A couple of hours at night, in Machu Picchu, the old city of the Incas in Peru, just silence, a spectacular view, and millions of stars. Nobody else on top of the ruins but me, my brother and a dog...
