Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am traveling, I like to learn about the history as well as the current culture. I also believe that staying with and learning from locals is the most genuine way of learning about the city's culture. Moreover, I'm a very passionate person - about academia, music, history, philosophy, etc - and I love being in environments where I can learn from other passionate people. I see CouchSurfing as a community of passionate travelers and teachers that I'd like to help bolster.

I plan to host couch surfers when I am back in the US. I'm excited to pass on the surfing and to help keep the cycle alive.
