About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life without giving my mother a heart attack

ABOUT ME

My friends would tell you that I am a positive and bubbly person that likes to get to know everyone in the room!

PHILOSOPHY

Fake it to make it- this isn't to say that you shouldn't be yourself. It is more of a philosophy. You know the theory that if you smile it will actually cheer you up? Same concept. Whatever you keep telling yourself is what shapes your reality. So keep on telling yourself you are one sexy beast!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love bringing groups of people together; I thrive off of helping others out by sharing my resources, networks, and stories.

Interests

I really enjoy fashion, design, and crafting! I am constantly changing my house around, adding little things here and there that give it a personality. When I am not working, I spend time on the beach making jewelry and cleaning up the planet. I will try anything more than once!
I travel often for work, my territory includes all of California, all of Arizona and Western Washington.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm guilty of being an avid fan of rap and hip-hop. I religiously follow Shade 45 on XM Radio.
I can listen to anything though. My all-time favorite band is Ween.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Ever heard of Sedona, AZ? I was given a tip to hike a mountain called Doe Mt. and had been out of shape during that point in my life. The hike was rather challenging as it was a straight zig-zag up the side of a cliff, with the pathway become more and more narrow on the way up. The final stretch is having to rock climb a few feet and I was about ready to give up. My friend pushed me to keep going however, and the payoff was AMAZING! Entirely flat on top and you can see for miles and miles at any angle that you want. Now, I go back to Doe Mountain every time I am there and each time it becomes less and less challenging.

2) My friend urged me to go to South Beach in Miami with her to visit an old friend. I wasn't against it but it wasn't on my list of places I was dying to go. Needless to say, it was my favorite place that I've been to. The locals are friendly and helpful, we saw a lemur in a bike basket, we went to a very sketchy club for reggae night, and we checked out the INSANE nightlife there! We found out on the last night there that we should have been dining at Cuban restaurants the whole time- YUM!

3) Tapanga Canyon- cuts through the Valley in Los Angeles and leads you straight to Malibu Beach. You wouldn't believe it's in the heart of a congested city like LA but there's a bunch of neat hidden artwork on the side of the road and my friend and I are still planning to find what is known as an urban legend- an abandoned Frank Lloyd Wright original.
