Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I showed some people around town, eating 'kroketten' with them and drinking 'drop shots'. Typical dutch things. I saved some girl in Amsterdam, she was in panic, wondering around in a pretty bad neighbourhood, we drinked some coffee and she appears to couchsurf too! Unfortunately i forget to ask her name! (Where are you?!)The other way around i slept on some couches, floors and even in real beds, most of them were somewhere around England, Tjechie and Hungarie. The hospitality was warm-hearted! It will be great to couchsurf again when i'm in Thailand!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In London i work my way into Faye her studenthouse in winter. And years later she crashed in Amsterdam, cause we were both stuck, cause of an enormous snowstorm. We were drinking tea and smoked some weed in the weirdes coffeeshop, just because we couldn't go somewhere else ;)My first couchsurfing experience was in Prague at the house of English gentleman: Jon Coles and his homemates! We were drinking cheap wine and pizza every day, all day, and just talking shit... It was fun!

Interests

Some more things i like: horse riding, trees, cats (especially my own sweet cat: sauce), dutch islands, saunas, the number 8 and ofcourse my boyfriend (he will be my husband in September <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing lions out of our broken cab near Navaisha in Kenya, riding on a white horse crowded by zebra's and giraffes,  swimming in this beautiful deepblue sea by myself and the sun comes up, and cows are running across the beach in Mombasa, but also the hectic Nairobi and bein in the middle of the immeasurable poverty... Extremely overwhelming...Other experiences: - Taking night train threw Russia, Poland and Ukraine- Hitchhiking threw Ukraine, Hongarie, Slowakie, Tsjechie, Austria, Germany- Smell up the fresh air and enjoy the amazing nature in Norway, Sweden and Denmark- Walking threw the grand bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey- Hopping islands in Greece! (my first real travelling experience)- Killing the O2 in London, England- Driving Miami Beach in a mustang cabrio - Listening to Opera in Verona, Italie.- Seein the total solar eclipse in south of Germany- Walking and biking these extreme mountains in Switzerland- Jumping from a bridge in Vienna, Austria - Working my way into The Stones concert... for free!- Eating mussels and slags in France- Just wondering around for hours and enjoy the great tapas, Barcelona Spain- Feeling totally free at my favorite Dutch island: SchiermonikoogAnd... My next trip will go to Thailand in February/March (finally!!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing:- I will do my best to cook a wonderful meal if you're tired or busy (or anyway).- I can sing a song for you. ('all that jazz' is my favourite, but i'm not Velma Kelly, sorry bout that!)- I can stand on my head, i will teach you, it's the ultimate the world-upside-down experience, change your hole perspective of live.- I can be silent if you're having a headache, (or wanna try to fall asleep)Learning experience:- I'm véry interested in the ways different cultures cook their food. I actually go crazy when i taste spicy Thai Food and try to imitate the best dishes in my home kitchen. Most of all i adore the h-h-h-hot spices and fresh herbs! My big dream is to travell the world and find people who are as crazy bout food as i do, and want to learn me everything about their traditional cooking-secrets!!- When i'm travelling i love to read literature written by the best writers of the country, so please give me some names you love and i will run to the nearest bookshop!
