About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have fun and enjoy life to its fullest.

ABOUT ME

I might only have backpacked to a few places. But i have the desire to trot the globe, and see things that'll wow and take me aback. I don't believe in traveling to a country and visiting touristy places that ain't representative of their country. That is merely scraping the surface of what a place has to offer, like picking a dime in a treasure cove. I like to go places where locals gather and pass their time, interact with them to learn about their culture, and have fun local style. Put aside the inhibitions from your society and adopt the ways of the locals. See the world the people do, that's real traveling to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is hard enough, so make the best of everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stay with my parent and siblings so I can't host sadly. I regularly show people around my country, offer them my coveted company and introductions to hidden gems of the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've enjoy every moment i have with my CS-ers. They're always a good sport. Its very gratifying to see them enjoy my country like I did. CS is a brilliant idea because people really open themselves to their surfers or hosts, and try to show each other the ways of their countries (mainly the host). Nonetheless, the host also gains traveling tales and knowledge about a country he hasn't visited yet.

Interests

I love to travel, hang out, bake, cook, work out and run.
I am interested in ski-ing,snowboarding, surfing, diving, parachuting, swimming, mountain climbing and the list goes on..

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dan brown, mitch albom, j.k rowling, a few other authors that slips off my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed Sundown marathon without a practice run longer than 20km. Many said its too haphazard to jump into a full marathon without physical and mental conditioning, to run in the wee hours of the night & such a long distance but i lived to see the day and thats all that mattered.

This is more of a boo than amazing, but i've once planned to bunk in a hostel that was in a different state in the country, because of bad advise by my previous hostel staff. Utterly embarassing to learn about this at the interchange's customer service counter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some basic cooking and baking if I don't forget my skills picked up stealthily when helping out my sisters in the kitchen.

I can share about my military experiences if we meet up; the days of my trainings and days where i contribute back to the army.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good sport and hopefully spark engaging conversations with them! I can also bake a mean new york cheesecake! Even made one for a friend's birthday!
