I was born in Australia but my family is not from there. We are Yugoslav. I grew up in Italy. I have lived and worked in many countries including Chile. So that is why I speak several languages to varying degrees of incompetence; -P. But I love China and this has been my home for the last 3 years and I feel very comfortable in Asia in general. I 'get it' ;-). I also lived and worked in Vietnam for a year. Now I'm very interested in Korea

I am a Regulation and Accreditation expert in the fields of Education, course accreditation and Allied Health Education. I have degrees in Law, Education, Business and Quality. I have three Masters degrees: An MBA, Master of TESOL and Master of Education. As a retired law expert - I took early retirement as I had a good life and job that let me do this. I now live in China and yes I do speak basic Chinese. I now work as a consultant to IB PYP schools to help them prepare for audit and accreditation as an IB School. Specialised stuff most of you will not understand but I put here as people always ask about jobs and think I'm some cute little English teacher ;-P

Something interesting about me - I'm nuts about Turkey and have been so many times I have lost count. Maybe 8 times?! That's definitely going to be my next language to learn after I master Chinese. I think I'm both a serious person and a seriously silly person. I like fun crazy people. Turks are nuts. I like it ;-P.

I'm an international person so please don't ask where I am from as that has already been explained above. Ask me where I am going is a better question.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet local people and make friends. It gets boring traveling by myself all the time. I like the freedom but I want to make local friends too. This seems the best way. Mostly I stay in hotels so this is a nice way to meet local people but be safe and have alone time when I need
