About Me

Currently FUNemployed. Taking a brief respite after one of the most mentally fatiguing jobs I've ever done.

I love unconventional ideas that challenge how most people think.

I enjoy trying new things, but tend to return to my favorite hobbies: computers, dance, BJJ.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

### You can have new experiences and learn new things by hosting and/or hanging out with me.

# When I traveled to a Japan, a friend saw Mount Fuji up close for the very first time. Even though he had lived in Japan for 55 years, he'd never had a reason to visit Mount Fuji before!

### I may host people at my place in Seoul, Korea later. I've already hosted several friends and family members and I made sure they had amazing experiences.

# My friend is into Korean music, so I got us into a K-Pop concert. When he was visiting, there weren't any major concerts. So the only option was these weekly music shows. Unfortunately, you can't get tickets very easily (you can't just pay money). There's a very complex procedure that's difficult even for native Koreans, much less foreigners. It involves waiting in line all day and proving your fan dedication. Anyways, I bypassed this procedure via a connection I had. So we got free tickets that bumped us to the front of the line!

# Another friend is interested in Bachata, so I showed her the best places to dance in Seoul. I introduced her to my most skilled and fun dancer friends. We had dinner together before going out to dance. My friend's feet were sore and blistered from dancing, so I took her to the best place to get custom-fitted dance shoes (for only $47!) The next time we went dancing, her feet were much more comfortable and she was able to dance longer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Learn how to apply the best marketing practices to make your Couchsurfing profile more effective. Other couchsurfers will be more attracted to your profile and inclined to host/hang out with you!

(Notice how I started this section talking about "you," and not me? Here's your first marketing tip: http://www.abn.org.au/blog/most-powerful-word-in-marketing. Of course this tip can be used in advertisements to get new customers, but people usually miss other applications like better/more responses to your job postings or couchsurfing profile.)

Does your computer/smartphone ever frustrate you? I also know a lot about computers: how they work, how to program them... and how to FIX them.

Of course, I'm always open and willing to try new experiences with you. Like shark diving (http://aquaticfrontier.com/busan-shark-dive). Or descending from the Great Wall of China riding a rickety zip line.
