About Me
CURRENT MISSION
For decades, as a beacon of the US Marine Corps, I have waged a crusade against the shadows of tyranny, the wielders of fear and enslavement. Liberty has its price, and my vow is to liberate the chained. My mission has been pretty straightforward – fighting against people who enslave others and those who instill terror and fear in the hearts of the peaceful.
ABOUT ME
UPDATE (July 22, 2023). Before sending me a hosting request, please read my profile.
I keep "tactical stuff" at home and regularly practice dry-fire drills at home. Certain areas inside my home are restricted, so please don't get offended if I tell you which areas are restricted and off-limits.
If you want to learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, aiming, weapons tactics, and dry-fire drills, just ask away; I'd happily teach you.
Who I am: I will try to keep it short and sweet (but it will be long :)). My name is Mccyle, but I'm known more by Iyrenycus or Flame. I am a mixed breed.
I've been practicing Aromatherapy and Reflexology for a few years now (23 years, to be precise), and recently I added Tantric Massage Therapy to my ever-growing list with two new certificates, "Bamboo Massage" and "Lomi Lomi" on the way. I am also an AI and ML maven. And I love experimenting and developing new products (currently developing an AI-enabled robotic arm).
I used to follow an unhealthy lifestyle. But I left it all behind (20 years ago). Needless to say, I personally don't drink, smoke, or take controlled substances. However, I have no issues if others do not follow my lifestyle. We all have our free agency.
I have a "can do" attitude, and nothing can or will hold me back from achieving my goals. I was told that if you willingly storm hell, your heaven will remain unstained, and if obstacles surround you and you see no way through – then you must go in deeper. Because the universe does not side with the largest adversaries; it sides with the "best shots." And as a master, maker, shaper, and molder of your destiny – you call the "best" shots.
That's me in a nutshell. To know more you can visit my blog: www.maikeruiirenikasu.com.
PHILOSOPHY
There are three groups of people on this planet.
1)- People who MAKE it happen.
2)- People who SEE it happen.
3)- People who say, "WHAT happened?"
I was always told to be part of the "first group" – to "make it happen," for if you quit once, you will always quit a second time, then a third time. The USMC makes Marines, not compromises, and I am no "compromise." If good men and women are called upon to make it happen, and they shrink from their responsibility, then they will be replaced, and all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men and women do nothing.
I believe there are times when you are forced to choose between two wrongs (and two wrongs don't make a right); there is a day and a time for being merciful, compassionate, loving, and caring – but if your world is threatened, you should be willing to defend it at all costs.
The Marines were presented with a dilemma; let's call it a two-sided coin. If the coin falls one way, the Marines sacrifice themselves and thus restore the balance of war by being compassionate. But as the last surviving force, against people who instill terror in the hearts and minds of the "peaceful", this would mean the annihilation of our species; and enslavement of the weak.
If the coin lands on the reverse, the Marines refuse the sacrifice and thus take the war, hard and fast to the very doorstep of the terrorists. In the process, causing "suffering" to the same people they have sworn to defend.
Either way, the game is rigged. There is no right way to do this. But one thing I do know – freedom is not free, and whether or not you agree with how the USMC is waging war, rest assured that your freedom has been purchased with the blood of the "sons of liberty." Why? Because from time to time, the tree of liberty has to be watered with the blood of the patriots.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hello fellow explorers! We are not that different. I am a globe-trotter, lifelong learner, and storytelling enthusiast. I am on Couchsurfing because of its profound capacity to reshape our world experience. It's more than a travel tool for me; it's a passport to authentic cultural immersion, fostering human connection and expanding horizons.
Every new city I explore, every home I step into, I carry with me an insatiable curiosity and an open heart, ready to soak up the diversity and richness of our global village. From learning to make traditional food with a host in Italy to engaging in philosophical discussions under the starlit sky of the Sahara, every experience adds a unique thread to my life's tapestry.
But my Couchsurfing journey isn't just about absorbing; it's about giving back too. I love to share pieces of my culture, stories from my travels, and the wisdom I've gained along the way. Teaching hosts tactical dry-fire drills or telling tales of my hometown's lore are how I leave a piece of me behind.
Through Couchsurfing, I gained perspective, friendships, and an ever-expanding appreciation for our shared humanity. Here's to a world without strangers, only friends we've yet to meet! Let's explore, share, learn, and connect.
Interests
I'm a writer who loves poetry and self-development and actively participates in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. My everyday life is about exploring AI, helping computers learn, and writing poems about what I discover.
I also enjoy a simple, balanced life. This includes staying mindful, eating healthy, and practicing new forms of massages. Writing and reading are two of my favorite things. I write stories that make you think and read all kinds of books, from sci-fi to classics, to get new ideas.
I keep fit by cycling, kickboxing, and Krav Maga. My mind loves technology and words, and my body loves physical challenges. I'm a disciplined person, who knows how to stay calm and loves learning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saved lives, and there is nothing I can do that will outclass that.
USMC or "Teufelshunde," as the Germans used to call us in WWII.
We stole the eagle from the "Air Force," the anchor from the "Navy," and the rope from the "Army." On the seventh day, while God was resting, we overran his perimeter and stole the "Globe," and we've been running the show ever since.
We live like soldiers (Army), talk like sailors (Navy), walk like pilots (Air Force), and slap the hell out of all three! Warriors by day, lovers by night, professionals by choice, and Marines, by the grace of God.
Teach, Learn, Share
Time is the most outstanding teacher; sadly, it kills all its pupils. Life is all about lessons; when we learn one, we move on. But some things are not to be discovered; they just "dawn on you."
Visions and dreams without goals are good for killing time; likewise, goals without visions and dreams are equally useless. But when the two are combined – strength and determination are born, and the person becomes unstoppable. Even the most remarkable achievement was once, and for a time, a dream, a distant vision. But someone "made it happen."
People are for loving, and things are for using, but the problems begin when we switch roles between the two; we start loving things; and using people – never use people; love them, and life will be amazing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can pretty much share a whole lot of stuff. However, things that I excel at are:
Cooking | Krav Maga | Kickboxing | Karambit Fighting | Combat Tactics. CQC. CQB | Fundamentals Of Firearms Safety | Weapons Tactics. Pistols | Aromatherapy. Reflexology. Massage Therapy | Writing. Poetry. Philosophy. Books.
I can also share a wealth of knowledge if you want to gain insights into holistic living. If time permits, I also offer free Indian head massages or holistic massage therapy treatments to my guests.
