About Me
I think the description that best fits me is that I'm many-sided and curious. I am a programmer by profession, a nuclear physicist by education and a passionate musician by hobby. I love spending time in the nature and getting to know different cultures.
A few (maybe unusual) things that I am totally fond of:
- Playing the organ. A few years ago I had even worked as a church organist, so if you are member of a religious community and your organist is missing, I will be more than happy to cover for them :-D
- Eating very strong hot peppers. I guess most Hungarians do :-D
- Airplanes. I could actually spend a whole weekend next to an airport just watching them take off and land :-D
- Football. If you are a supporter of your local team, it will be a pleasure for me to grab your team's scarf, put on their jersey, learn some songs and go to the stadium to root for them. Unless they are the rivals of my local team of course :-D
- Opera. Both listening to and singing. And of course one of my dreams is to sing Rigoletto in front of a crowded audience :-D
- Tasting national dishes. If you can tell me where can I find the best one in your city, it is highly probable that we will become good friends. Same applies to Hungarian fisherman's soup (halászlé) :-D
And one last thing: Even if I live in Romania, I belong to a culturally rich subgroup of the Hungarian minority here, called Székelys (there is a Wikipedia article if you want to read more). Therefore I am more knowledgeable about Hungarian than Romanian culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, to meet new people (future friends :-D) and to get to know different cultures through them. It is nice to visit popular tourist locations, but I consider that it is much more fun to take a closer look at how local people are living, what they are eating, how they are thinking etc. Therefore, Couchsurfing is the best option for me :-)
On the other hand, I like to help others by offering them a couch, I enjoy to have some fun and nice talks with my guests, and I am willing to introduce them to the local conditions and to my culture which I am very proud of :-)

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to pronounce 'egészségedre' (= 'cheers', literally meaning 'to your health') in Hungarian. If you are an advanced user, I might trick you with some super easy tongue-twisters like 'Nem mindenfajta szarkafajta farka tarkabarka, csak a tarkabarka fajta szarkafajta farka tarkabarka' :-D
