ABOUT ME

I'm a curious person, and I like to talk a lot. I'm usually very direct and sincere, optimistic, precise and stubborn. I have too many interests and I'd always like to do too many things :P

I'm not a "party all night long" type of person but I do like people's company. I prefer a chat over a beer to a night in a disco.

My big dream is to travel all over the world without time limitations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be a very active member both as a host and a guest, meeting people, participating in activities of Rome CS group. In the last few years I have let life, busy-ness, tiredness, work, etc get in the way. I found a partner and got married, then we moved to a small town outside of Rome and started travelling in a more traditional way.

All this put a stop to my CS activites but I still like to help others, to meet new people, to get to know new cultures both when I travel and when I'm home. I hope 2018 is finally the year when we can start to host again (and to travel... in 2017 I did not travel at all and I miss it soooo much!!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met so many wonderful people that I can't count, both in Rome and during my trips. Really amazing experience that changed forever my way of looking at others.

Intereses

Travelling and anything related with geography, the different countries, peoples, languages and places.

I love photography, but basically I take photos only when I travel. I love colors and the sun.

I love reading, almost all kind of books. Cinema, talking with friends, board games.

Música, películas y libros

Movies: Star Wars. Lord of the Rings. Romantic comedies, action movies, historical films, cartoons, smaller productions... I guess the only things I don't like are horror movies (I'd have nightmares for the following week!!) and Vanzina-style things (if you are Italian you know what I'm talking about!!)

Books: Mystery stories, especially if set in the past. Travel literature. Novels of any type, they just have to bring me on some different world, to live different lives, different times and places, different stories...

My hyper-active soul gets soothed by "soft" music that gives emotions.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Married the most amazing man on Earth :D and went with him on the most awesome honeymoon you could imagine: a trip to Antarctica!
Lived for one year in Japan. At first I felt like on a different planet!
Travelled to North Cape and to Patagonia, alone.
Trekked in Patagonia: I never thought I could make it, but I did!

The incredible colors of coral reefs, in Thailand and Red Sea (Egypt)

Many many more places and moments that made me feel alive and I'll never forget...

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Teach me about you, your way of living, thinking, your place and friends and anything you like. A few words of your language.
I will try to share with you my own life, thoughts, time and space. :)
I can teach you some Italian language and the basics of Italian cuisine (only the basics, I'm not such a great cook)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can prepare some real Italian pasta, wash the dishes, help them with travel itineraries to Europe or Japan, teach some Italian or even some Japanese.
