Since October 2023 I am on my trip to travel once around the globe without flying and just made it to hitchhike the Atlantic arriving in Saint Martin (February 2024) where I will work now a bit before sailing to South America

Generally speaking, I'm an open minded person who likes to meetall kinds of different people in different places.
It doesn't really matter whether it is a nice conversation while having dinner, exploring the city or going on an adventurous trip.
If I am not travelling I usually spend my time making/playing music, exercising (cycling, climbing or running), spending time with friends, going to bars and studying from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love getting to know new people who are mainly living an entirely different life as I do. It is lovely to see different perspectives on different topics/things, so you also gonna start questioning your own way of living.
Generally speaking, I love meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds and to see how living in these is like.
And im low on budget so it is a very cheap and convenient way to still being able to travel.
During my travels I already met so many kind and friendly people that helped me a lot, so I also want to give something in return by offering a place to stay and showing people my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to almost every genre but mostly to rock, rap, techno, psytrance and jazz.
Some of my favourite artists are Mac Miller, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tj_Beastboy and AnnenMayKantereit

Books: I really dont read that much but overall I like travel stories

Movies: fight club, almost every movie with Leonardo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In February 2020 with some inspiration from the YouTube Channel Yes Theory I spontaneously decided to hitchhike (my first time back then) to Amsterdam over the weekend and ask strangers on streets whether I could sleep at their home.
On the first night I ended up in the Hague at Felix's, a medicine student living there, and we spent a great evening. I spent the following day in the Hague and went to the sea.
However, I originally planned on staying in Amsterdam so I hitchhiked back there in the evening where I first downloaded Couchsurfing. I stayed at an amazing guy with 4 other couchsurfers and we had a wonderful dinner with great conversations. After some time the other couchsurfers went to bed and we both continued having a really really nice talk.
So far it was one of my best trips and couchsurfing experiences!

Generally speaking all my travels I did so far were really really cool experiences that I am always keen on sharing

I can teach you some piano or drums and especially music theory.
Otherwise we can have great conversations, whether it may be topics like politics music history, great travel stories/experiences or just philosophizing about life and its wonders.
