About Me

Hello,
I am an English teacher that lived and taught in Korea for 4 years. My dream is to see the world and experience new cultures, languages and food :) I am actually half Scottish and half Peruvian. I have been to Peru twice and I absolutely loved it. I have a half brother and 2 nephews in Peru that I hope to meet. I have always wanted to be an aunt so I hope that I get to meet them and spoil them. My boyfriend who I met in Korea also has the same dream of seeing the world. Once we are done travelling I hope to open my home to anyone from anywhere to keep learning about people and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing for the experience. I have always found that staying in resorts, or hotels don't allow you to really learn anything about a country's culture or people. I would love to meet people and make new friends. I also want to be able to offer my home to the people that open their home up to us. I would feel honoured to stay in anyones home.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is hip hop maybe. I really love all types of music. I enjoy salsa, merengue, reggaeton, hip hop, rap, r&b, some country, pop, k-pop etc.
My favourite movie is the disney classic Mulan.
My favourite book is... That is too hard. I have many favourites. Wild by Cheryl Stride, A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout, When Rabbit Howls by Truddi Chase, the list goes on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is that I hiked with elephants in the jungle of Laos. It was the most amazing experience I have ever done. They are such beautiful and gentle creatures. I also learned a lot about why you should never ride the elephants and about how they live and love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach the world how to be more open minded. I would also love to teach more confidence in today's youth. You are capable of doing anything. I would like to learn more languages. I would love to learn more about the cultures of the world. I would like to share my stories of travel and one day my home with those passing through.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories with my hosts. i can share my future home in the future. I can also share my own favourite meals if they allow me to cook for them .
