About Me
I'm currently trying to make Oslo my home and some days I'm succeeding and other days I dream about where to live next.
I spent my 20's and early 30's in NYC and that formed much about who I am as an adult. I vacillate between being an introvert and an extrovert, depending on circumstances. I need friends in my life to keep me happy and sane. I can be anywhere with good friends.
I like to wander around in pretty cities, people watch, spend time with my dog and watch great tv series on HBO or Netflix.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just heard from a friend that he meets incredible people using this service so I wanted to give it a try on this trip to Amsterdam.
Interests
I've gone to a lot of Tony Robbins events. He has taught me a ton.
- reading books
- motivation
- understanding human nature
Music, Movies, and Books
I re-read Jane Austen a lot. And I've read The Prophet multiple times as well. I liked The Stranger, The Red Tent, Count of Monte Cristo, Ayn Rand novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sailed around the globe on a ship.
Heard the late Fidel Castro speak live... almost got his signature... I was so close!
Teach, Learn, Share
I work at a salad bar. I can make you a great salad and teach you along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My mad salad making skills, a great green curry soup (if I can find ingredients locally), a quick way to pickle some veggies with a fun twist.
