ABOUT ME

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, and now an Auckland native. What kind of couch surfer am I? My mother taught me to be courteous; will do my best to contribute with groceries and keep my area spotless. Not ashamed to admit that I love pop music (don't let that put you off!), love different languages (trying my best to learn French atm), love baking, and pretty much love life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm travelling with my brother, and we'll be using most of the day to explore tourist attractions. In the evenings, we'll be cooking quick, delicious dinners (I work as writer for a food magazine here, so love my food!), and this is when we see our mingling with hosts will be. We really want to be flexible with our plans though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our home is always open to friends and family staying on our couches, especially those coming from South Africa. When I settle in UK, will hopefully be able to carry on hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 48 hours on Rangitoto Island, Auckland, tramping and completing tasks with NZ Army reserves. Showed me how tough I could be.
