I am a freelance journalist and English teacher from Atlanta, Georgia who loves to travel and meet new people. I have spent the last nine months as an assistant English teacher at UFRGS in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, and now I am traveling through Brazil before returning to the U.S. In addition to journalism and teaching, I love to practice the languages I'm learning, cook with friends, spend time outside, and learn about the history of places I visit.
