About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live to Learn, Love to Live, and always remember to Enjoy!

ABOUT ME

I'm a story-teller at Heart. I Love words, be they written or spoken, pictures, be they real or abstract; and whatever pushes people to use their imagination, open their minds and souls to new thoughts, views, ideas, worlds.

And travel belongs to this more than anything... If it weren't for the hundreds of people I have met across the many countries I have visited, I would not be where and who I am today. Each and every one of us has something to share, something to teach, another approach to Life. I wish to be able to continue my meandering upon this beautiful Planet for as long as I Live, and remember to remain humble in the face of the teachings even the smallest person has to offer! :D

PHILOSOPHY

We are all One. All-One. Alone.
We are Love.
Nothing else matters. No Thing matters.

Love is All there Is.
I am Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I am traveling, I try to meet as many local people as possible to share insights, learn about local cultures, and deepen our overall knowledge :)

... and I try to host, as much as possible :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I joined (early 2008) I have met more like-minded people than ever before! Wonderful people scattered all over this beautiful Planet. This website is that link to humanity I have been looking for ;)

A NOTE ABOUT CS:

I have been using CS since 2008. Thanks to CS I have travelled the world and loved meeting people I would have otherwise never had the opportunity to meet . There are few COMMUNITIES I cherish as much as I have cherished the CS community over the years.
BUT CS has dramatically changed - and not for the better.
Ever since it went for profit, it has sunk deeper and deeper into the poop-hole.
I am still happy to host and still love the connections I have forged through this (once) incredible platform but please, please do not treat this as a dating site - and do NOT write to me unless you are genuinely interested in surfing at my place or meeting up for drinks to learn about where I live and the people who live here.
Oh, and if you happen to work for CS - well done! You've managed to destroy the very essence of one of the most amazing communities ever forged across all borders on this precious Planet. I hope you are proud of yourselves.

Anything based on true stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A natural source of hot water, 7 to 8 meters deep, some 30 meters long, deep below the lava crust on Iceland's thin Earth. I had the luck, chance, and Joy to spend some hours soaked in blissfully crystal clear hot water, there where pretty much none have ever been.

Walked across the Indrahar Pass in Northern India, at 4425 meters, with 16 kg on my back.

Had the amazing luck and blessing to have been to so many countries, lands, and met so many wonderful people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an avid volunteer photography teacher. I believe that when people try to capture what they see, they learn to see the world in a different way, they become separate from what they see. I like to help people come back into the world we are all so desperate to see contained and "shared" in little frames.

I also enjoy teaching people how to express themselves more clearly and efficiently. I've spent some time teaching languages and working as an editor. If you have a CV, a letter, or even a book that needs to be looked at, let me help :D

If you are able to teach me a new language, share insights from your culture, your family, your upbringing, I'm all ears!

And last, but definitely not least, I am looking forward to sharing Love. Love of this Planet, the Beings alive on it. Love of Existence. Love of Being Alive and Living to the fullest :)
