I'm a student at Exeter University doing PPE, I love music and am learning to surf! I travel quite a lot and have done a road trip for the last few years through Europe and this year through Scotland. I grew up next to the beach so it is my favourite place.

I think it's a great way to meet new people and put yourself out there to be open to new experiences. I feel like I could really show someone a good time and definitely think that you get more out of a place when you are viewing it from the eyes of someone that lives there. The best places to go are often the ones that people don't think of it know about!

兴趣

I love dancing and have been a ballet dancer since I was 2. I've been in loads of shows and choreographed quite a few with my ballet family, I love watching dancing as well, especially contemporary, I think it's so moving and beautiful.
Surfing is also becoming one of my favourite things to do, my boyfriend and I go a lot with surf club at uni and I'm getting alright!

I'm a huge music fan, mostly alternative/indie while flicking between favouring acoustic or rockier stuff. I play the piano (pretty badly) and go to a lot of concerts and festivals. Patrick Wolf, Cocorosie, Alt J and Julia Stone are my current favourites. I love distinctive voices, they're so much more interesting!

My favourite movie is Good Will Hunting, I always cry when Will has his big emotional break through even though I've seen it a thousand times. I love an underdog that overcomes class struggle and stuff (politics degree really coming through there). Moulin Rouge is also a classic, of course, who doesn't love a burlesque musical?

Terry Pratchett is my favourite author and his book Good Omens co written by Neil Gaiman is absolutely amazing. It's so so funny and a bit creepy, which is the best combination. I'm trying to read a lot of classics, of which Dracula is my favourite it's actually so scary and written so well!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Ummm, well. I volunteered in Ghana for three weeks building a school and getting engaged in the culture. As a whole it had changed my perspective on material wants and even though it was quite a few years ago, I still find myself reliving those memories and constantly challenging myself to push my personal boundaries. I know a lot of western girls go volunteering so it's not really that amazing but I think the effect it's had on my life past all the mosquito bites is the real thing to talk about!

I love welcoming new perspectives and points of view into my life and really want to gain as much breadth of knowledge as I can. I really think it's a good way to become a fully rounded person and the best way to do this is to hear it first hand from people who are passionate in what they believe! Even though I may be naturally a little bit argumentative I promise I'll save it for uni!
