Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and share new experiences.

To have access to a network that allows me to travel around the world on a budget- it makes sense to use a local's spare bed or couch rather than booking yourself into a hotel. It is the best way to make new friends in a city and great way to learn about the hidden gems in a city rather than doing the typical touristy things.

My last experience couch surfing with a friend was an awesome one and we are still friends with the person that hosted us!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White water rafting in Uganda twice (nearly died the second time)

Stopped an inch away from a fort lift truck as it sped by and managed to survive

Recently been on a panel debate with MPs, including Mary Creagh and Hilary Benn (not like I agree with everything he stands for)
