Over the last year I was a full time resident of the beautiful city of Istanbul. Turkey is a fabulous country, raw, beautiful and rich in tradition, art, music and history. Beyond this, the cuisine is fabulous and you have not truly lived until you have had an authentic kahvalti aka Turkish breakfast. I am so grateful to have made many beautiful friends and memories throughout Turkey and vastly expanded my awareness of the human condition. Prior to living in Turkey I spent 2016 - 2017 living in Madrid, Spain. It was here that I completed my Undergraduate degree, double majoring in Digital Design and Art History. Truly one of the most enlightened of Western cultures, Spanish philosophy and way of life deeply transformed me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Our shared experiences and the connections we forge between cultures and geographic location drive our greater collective social and spiritual evolution. In sharing physical space we are given the opportunity to naturally pass stories, traditions, songs, cuisine, and history between one another, effectively expanding our personal, global and philosophical perspectives. This is the philosophical core that fuels my desire to be a Couchsurfer.

A passion for travel and world exploration has held a prominent position in my life for as long as I can remember... and beyond. I am deeply blessed to come from a family of travelers and world explorers across many generations. I continue this tradition now with you, through our shared experience.
