We're a fun loving couple, easygoing, creative. We love to walk and laugh and explore new places and ideas.

We have recently been joined by our smiley baby boy, Ash.

Robin says that I am always very thoughtful and considerate. I say that Robin is very calm, almost too calm, though when adventuring his whimsical decision making can lead to some interesting situations. I just try to make sure no-one gets hurt!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When we're travelling it feels like the best way to really experience a place and meet people, when we can host it's a great way to stay in touch with the travel community and the wider world.

Intereses

Robin and I both share a passion for good food, wine, and interesting conversations that extend long into the night! I studied philosophy and literature and love talking about ideas and hearing things that make me think. I also really love animals, especially dogs! Robin is an animator and loves anything to do with that and film in general, he's also a very keen surfer and skier/snowboarder.
One of our favourite things to do is walk, especially in the outdoors but also in cities, seeing what there is to see, feeling what there is to feel... and then having a good drink afterwards!
I'm becoming increasingly passionate about waste minimisation and sustainability and interested so see what these things look like around the world.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a voracious reader and can't seem to help collecting books wherever I go, I have far too many favourites to choose from!

Robin loves films and can talk about endlessly about camera angles and lighting, we're always happy to watch something interesting - the weirder the better!

No life is complete without music and between us we have very eclectic tastes and like listening to new things

Hiking the Annapurna circuit in Nepal! 21 days of jaw dropping mountain vistas, smiley people and high altitude hijinks. Robin even jumped into Tilicho Tal, a lake at over 5000m (crazy!)

We have collected an interesting and diverse array of card games in our travels which we love to teach and play with people - and we're always keen to learn new ones too!
