ABOUT ME

I'm 23 and am in Europe on my own for the first time. It's exhilarating! I'm loving every minute of my travels and have met some amazing people along the way.
My goal is to become a journalist. I'm really interested in world politics and events. I read the news every day and am always grateful to hear other's opinions and views.
I joined the Peace Corps, which means I'll be volunteering in a 3rd-world country for 27months starting next year (hopefully). I'm really excited to serve!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a couple times on this trip, but it was with my friend Autumn, so the reviews are on her page. I love couchsurfing! It is a really unique experience. Way different than staying in hostels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Der Himmel über Berlin, Girl from Shanghai, Inception, and a lot more movies.
I like to listen to weird music like TV on the Radio, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Radiohead. But I also like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and a whole lot more. Just ask me :)
I love to read. I like anything from non-fiction science books to romance novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The view from the top of the Duomo in Florence was breathtaking. I've never seen anything so beautiful.

Understanding is the key to tolerance, and therefore peace. Never look away because what you don't know frightens you; learn it, and you will conquer that fear.
