I am Leima from North East India.
Since I moved to Berlin in 2018 I have explained to more than atleast more than 70 individuals that people coming from my region of India can have Mongolian physical features. 😄And that I am Indian. ☺️Anyways I always appreciate your genuine curiosity and would love to share experiences.

Just a thought / feeling I have currently — The world is changing very fast and in many areas so much for the better which is taking time and effort. I have observed that many people have gotten very very sensitive in recent times that a genuine question of curiosity that might actually help educate an individual might unintentionally offend someone to an extent that nowadays a room for growth is bleak, and thus just a to show a simple gesture and appreciation are mostly suppressed because of the fear of being highly misunderstood. And people are so worried to say anything anymore because no one wants to offend the other one or to be called let’s say for eg A racist . Sometimes I wish people could compliment or say something nice and give a second look at something , someone nice without the fear of being called out for being a _____! I believe one can always sense the intention of a person . Everyone wants to be woke nowadays , yet I the inner essence of many who call themselves woke seems to be missing.
Well, anyways I would say I am very easy to start a conversation or talk to. And I don’t get offended easily😅. I am here to learn and grow .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a super good platform to explore and discover. Most of my friends use it, and my first CS experience was in Prague and it worked out really well. 😊 so why not ?

And I came to Berlin for an exchange social year in 2018. Which was totally funded. Well it’s 2023 and I am Still in Berlin! 😂

I am a certified yoga teacher. But currently working in a German -English pre school in Berlin.
Currently not actively teaching yoga after I moved to Europe as other areas of my life demanded more attention.
I like to stay curious and the more I get older the more I realize I know very less. I would like to keep learning new things.😀 language and culture interests me a lot.

I lived in an Ashram for two months in India, and as cliché as it might sound it was a very beautiful experience which I made and I like to share what I had learnt with people who are interested to listen .
